30 spline 10 bolt?

I have 30 spline axles in my 10 bolts, they say spicer on the ear where the u-joint is and I've heard spicer axles are tough. Are these axles very strong? My dad had it done a while back and the guy at the shop said they are 3/4 ton.I have open diffs still, Can they handle 36s-37s for a while as long as I keep a light foot?

I had the weaker 28 spline 10 bolt in the front on my 86 with 37's and it held up fine for 2 years. I drove it with a light foot and left it open. Never broke anything!!! I'd say go for it. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
