My friend is giving me a 95 1/2 ton pickup with a 305, just wondering how hard it would be to make that fuel setup work on a 350 engine? do i need bigger injectors? different computer? ill be getting the whole truck so any sensors and harness and stuff like that wont be a problem. Im a complete noob when it comes to chevy fuel injection...so please be kind. Thanks

Forgot to add, its a 95 4x4 700r4 that im getting and my truck is an 84 k5, with a 92 350, was in truck when i got it, converted to carb, turbo 400.

You can swap the entire TBI system but you will need 350 injectors and also a chip for a 350 to run correctly.

I'm working with a 95 TBI computer. I think the 95 1/2 ton Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) could cause some headaches if the computer does not have the VSS information. The 95 computer needs the information from the VSS to operate the engine correctly. Older TBI computers were easy to bypass the need for a VSS. Is the 95 1/2 ton an automatic transmission pickup? I think some of the manual transmission 1/2 ton pickups in the early 90's still used the older computer, but I think by 95 all the 1/2 ton pickups used the new computer. Maybe when you get the pickup, you can post the computer part number ... then the computer can be identified as new / old.

Thanks guys, should be a good start for me. Dude said it was a 95 with a 700r4... I don't doubt he is wrong on one of the two though lol. I'll have to look further when its in my driveway.

You will also need to swap in a 350 knock sensor and a 350 ESC module. The module is the black box located on the passenger side of the TB.
The KS and ESC module from the 305 wont work well on a 350.
