Hello all! New member here. I have a beautiful Arizona '84 Blazer.
It had a 305, now it's a 350. The last owner used the 305 esc distributor
for the new 350. I had no spark issues so I replaced the 305 distributor with a 350 distributor. Now it runs great but my gauges quite working.

What do I need to do to the 4 plug harness from the old distributor
to make my gauges work again?

Regards,

BCP

Gauges aren't controlled by the distributor. I suppose I'd look at the fuses and see if any are popped first. Can't think of anything that is anywhere near the distributor that would affect all the gauges. Oil pressure sender is normally right next to the distributor, but that's it.

Check your ground strap from the back of the drivers side head to the firewall. Might have left it off.
My guess lost a ground.
You can also add a Small ground from the neg batt post to the fender it doesn't have one.
Other wise missing power from the starter to the firewall junction but should be missing more than just gauges if that was the case.

Thanks guy's

I will check grounds tonight. I should have been more specific.

My fuel guage and turn signals quit working when I turn headlights on.

Going out to the garage now.

BCP

305 and 350 distributors are interchangeable. You probably replaced an early ESC distributor with a standard mechanical HEI.
