I think Martin makes a valid point. The 208 is a factory install that is possibly easier to find all of the parts for, even maybe drivelines. Then the 205 can get prepped for the doubler without having the truck down as long.
But if you don't have a 208 right now, and can't find one cheap, then that can change things.
