Did the 32 splined 203 only come off the th400? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
If not do the older gm 465 that had a 203 on it have 32 spline or are the all 10. Trying to get the parts for a doubler any onfo on this would rock. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

yep. 32 spline input 203 only came with th400. the 465 are all 10 spline until around 81 when they switched to 32 spline but were only available with the 208

what about dodge or ford. do any of them have 32 splines units. and can i use any of them for the chev 465 32 spline?

As said above the 32 spline input gear on the 203's were TH400 versions only .
The 32 spline 465's started in 1981 on the K-10's and K-20's but did not go 32 spline in the K-30's until 1985 .
If you are planning on using a factory 465 32 spline output shaft you will need to do additional work mating the adapter to the GRB. The easiest way to do it might be to locate a 465/203 adapter and get a 465 mainsaft from ORD and mate it to a 32 spline GRB.

Ford 203's used a 31 spline and Dodge used a 23 ( IIRC ) spline input. GM used 10 / 27 / and 32 splined inputs on there versions.
Good luck , Tom

Stephen sells a way to adapt a short 32 spline 205 to an SM 465 with the figure 8 pattern adapter. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
