33x12.50x15 8\" wheel???

is a 12.50 tire safe to run on an 8" wheel?My rig is a daily driver that sees limited offroad use,maybe a few times a month tops.the tires are bfg all-terrains and the wheels are factory rally wheels.Thanks,and sorry about that roll bar post.

Yes it will be fine, most guys here run 8" width with 12.5's they say the bead angle is better on an 8" rim also, that's what I hear /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm running them on the stock 7" alum. no problem but I have to run 30PSI to get even wear on them

If you haven't purchased them yet, there are also 33x10.5R15 BFG's in AT and MT.

Not that you can't run a 12.5 on an 8" rim, just that there are options out there. Tires rubbing the fenders if not lifted is the only real concern.

I run a 35-12.5 on an 8". On the snow and sand I go as low as 7 psi. Never busted a bead[knock on wood]

It will fit perfect, and those BFG's you want have a bigger lip around tire so you can't easily smack the rim with a rock /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
