Yep, dizzy, or EGR valve. Small piece of carbon might be holding it open slightly.
 
Spray carb cleaner around the base of the carb,it may have a leak at the base gasketor maybe the EGR is open slightly as suggested--do not overlook the power brake booster ,and vacuum modulator,vacuum advance , as potential vacuum leaks,also make sure the pvc valve is working good.....vacuum gauge helps a lot diagnosing these issues..

It could be just a spark plug failing or a plug wire..usually a spark or compression issue will show up worse under load though..
 
Take a spray bottle and water, hit a light spray on the wires while your helper presses the pedal to increase the load. Keep it darker with the hood down or in the garage to look for arching. If your wires are anywhere close to the headers the insulation will likely break down. Wrap some electric tape around those areas to test for a difference if that’s possible. My Blazer had that issue this week.
