I'm running 35 spline outers on my 60 with Rockcrusher flanges. I don't have the snap rings on the stub shafts. Do I need them and if I do doesn anybody know the size of them? They are Spicer stubs.

I just installed mine a few days ago but with Warn hubs instead of flanges. I've heard some people say they don't need them, but I don't see how you would keep the axle seals up against the spindle without the snap rings. Maybe flanges are different in that regard?

Drive gears and hubs are the same basic thing. Just the drive gear can't be unlocked without removing it.

You need the snap rings in order to keep the seals at the back of the spindle engaged in the seals on the stub shaft.

Sorry I don't know the size of them.

But with warn flanges they do not do any good without springs or homemade spacers to push the flanges out.
I am not sure about the rockcrushers though.
Saw someone had the springs in their flange kit now but they would not sell only the springs to me

I had to make custom spacers out of tubing to pull on the stub shaft to get it to seal against the spindle seals.

The springs would be nice but I doubt you will find them without a few hassles.
