Anyone run warn 35 spline premium hubs in their d60..?

Anyone have good or bad luck with them...?

I went with drive flanges, I've never heard much praise for them. Mostly talk that they were just as easy to break as the 30 spline ones.

IMO, if you need selectable hubs, get used OEM Spicer hubs and have them broached to 35 spline. I have heard good things about those.

selectable = spicers and modify to 35 spline. thay are all steal on the inside.

if you dont care = slugs.

warns are pot metal and look like crap if you ask me.

I have had issues with mine; the inside of dial is the same size as the 30 spline, and rubs on the end of the stub....locks itself driving down the road unlocked...unlocks itself when drivivng offroad when locked...little duct tape on the dial seems to hold it in the desired position :dunno:

Hopefully i have luck with them, I just put em in yesterday. If all fails ill have to get spicers and have em broached or just get the hubs warrantied. Slugs wont work for me since my axle has a spool.

Those are friggin sweet! $529.00. Shoot, that's more than I paid for my complete Dana 60. I wish I was rich!

I think there are drive flanges that you can take the splined part out and still put the cap on

I haven't really looked into it but that seems to be the best bet

you can get good used spicers.

redo them to 35 spline

and new dials with bolts/washers/o-rings

all for less thn 529.00 before shipping.

and like talked about before thay are the spicer 44 style blown up to 60 size.

i have done lots of reading and i made my choice.

spicers + 35 spline mod.

then arb locker = all the best in the end. :waytogo:

the only thing aluminum on spicer is the dial housing.

and unlikewarn that needs the gear pressed in to lock position.

the spicer will fail in the lock position if the dial is not there.

and the main pwer points of the spicer are solid steel parts. not aluminum or pot metel.

I had spicers in 30 spline in my 60 when i got it, lasted 4 years for me and i busted one with the 39s. So i sold the other here on the classifieds and bought 30 spline warn premiums:rolleyes:....Good thing that came out of it was i traded the 30 spline warns for a set of 35 splines. I shoulda kept it i guess and found another to have broached. I guess ill have to find a pair to have done. Or for now have the local place here keep a set or premium 35 spline warns in stock....for the just incase...:D
