Does your rig still rub? Did it rub with the 4" lift in your sig, or was that before the 4".

Thanks

KM

looking for pictures of a k5 or jimmy 81-91 preferable. I currently have a three inch lift and 33's and am going to 35's. Most likely going to the four inch lift, but haven't decided on it yet. Any help appreciated.

Truck to be used mostly in light mud and trails.

Here ya go: 4" w/ 35 x 14.50's

You can run the 35's with the 3" lift. I had a '91 w/ same setup. Tires were 12.5 wide BFG All-Terrains. You will have a little scrubbing on the rear of the front wheel well at full stuff.

yea, I figured the 3 inch would work, but the four might be just a tad better. Cheers for the picture.

I have been all through the galleries but they don't always list the size or lift, so it is hard to know exactly what I am looking at.

Thanks! The inside is even nicer. I bought it from a middle-aged couple that live near me. The interior is like new. :cool1:

Here's mine on 35's with about a 2.5" lift. I trimmed the rears of the front fenders a little, but thats it. I am installing a new 4" lift this weekend cause the old springs are sagging a lot now.

thanks for the pictures everyone! My truck is at the shop getting a ton of work done to it. I have no time anymore! New tires (35's) will be going on and a four inch lift.

Cheers.

can anyone post the pictures. I can't open them. I don't have access. I haven't been online for a while, but I think I need a membership? Thanks for all the other pictures everyone.

My truck is in the shop right now getting a new lease on life. I can't wait to get it back. Here is a list of what I am having done.

Remove old air conditioning unit
Remove snorkel and ram air unit, go to open air filter.
New head gaskets
Valve job and grind on heads.
Headers
Remove old three inch lift, add new four inch lift
New 35 inch Mudders to replace old 33's
New cam, 268 degree
Flush all fluids
Steam clean engine bay.
New grill

I used to do all the work on my truck but it has since become something I just don't have the time for. Kinda sucks as I used to love working on it, but with a busy job, new house and baby on the way things kinda get pushed to the side. I have a good buddy who loves these trucks and offered to do all the work for me for a good deal. I just couldn't pass it up.

I came close to selling it a few years ago when I got my daily driver, but couldn't bring myself to do it as I love these things. I am soooo glad I didn't. I will post some pictures when I get it back.

Cheers.

That's the one thing that I wouldn't do. Think about how HOT it is under the hood. The general rule of thumb is that for each 10 degrees COOLER that the incoming air is, the engine makes 1% more power. So do you want the engine to suck in 80 degree air from the grille, or 200+ degree air from under the hood?

Hotter air also increases the chance of pinging.
