350 and 700-r4

I know that the THM 350 and 700-r4 share some of the same parts but I wanted to know would a output shaft from a 350 wourk in a 700-r4

I am trying to mate a 700-R4 to a NP203

advanced adapter sells the output shaft for it for like $100.
if you want to get into some costom machine work, the stock output on the 700r4 is the same spline as the 350, its just longer.

Does the 700-r4 shaft have enough spline to cut some off and make it work

do you have a 350 4x4 there?
the 700r4 output is out about 6 in front the tranny case.

would there be enough spline left to work with a NP203 if I cut the 700-R4 shaft down to the right size
