Ok so most of you know I haven't done much with engines but I'd like to swap cams from one engine to the new(new to me) one ive read a bit about it but the most ive dont with an engine is pulling the heads of and everything on top of the heads are putting cams in hard and do yall think id be able to do it @Bent77

It’s not hard, but it does require some patience

Before you get going, let’s make sure the cam you want will match your cylinder heads/compression/intake as they work as a system

Everything is same the pistons are different brand but they have the exact same specs same intake heads etc

was more concerned that the lift and duration match the compression and flow values for the heads.
Its easy to throw a cam in there and have the power band completely screwed up because the parts and pieces don't work well with each other.

Flat top pistons?

What part number cylinder head and camshaft?

Well hopefully you have some numbers for the heads and the cam, so that they will match up well together

Alright I don't know the exact specs on everything but it does make low to mid 300's and believe me if you want or don't

Hey man I was just joking... It’s @79rustyk10 you got to worry about! Lol!

Seriously if it makes good number great, I would like to have the 350 in our 77 make 300+ Sounds like basic parts you got. We want the recipe.

A lot of jokers on here.. it’s all good. Stick around!
