Hi guys...looking for a good motor to drop into my DD. Anyone know where I can locate one that will last?

I posted up an engine awhile ago,,, a very nicely built 350.. balanced and blueprinted... all the good stuff.. with 260h cam and big valves... built to pull on pump gas... this is a complete engine from quadrajet to water pump... fully smog legal... (opps I advertised it at 1750)1700.00 bolt and go it was run on the engine dyno for 20 minutes for cam break in and is NEW
I am far from you but there is 2500 into this set up and Im giving it away because I sold the truck and have no other project waiting.... email me for pics

I'd even be able to haul it as far as Denver this weekend or all the way out to MN at christmas time possibly...

Wow thanks dude, but I need to get the engine paid for first....chuckling.

I have one in my 84 truck with 85k original miles.
It had a small leak in the covers and caught fire and melted the vacuum switches and lines, not to much of a fire.
I am running it now with one vacuum line to the dist and it still runs great, new spark plug wires and air cleaner is all it took.
I am making that truck into a trailer and parting the rest out around christmas time.
If you have someone to haul it for you (Kenny?) I want $400 for it, you can drive it first and then we pull it or you could have some test it for you and then we pull it get it ready for the shipping.
Either way let me know.
