I bought 88 gmc jimmy sierra classic how can I tell what 350 is in it all I known it is fuel injected how can I tell if its a tbi or ect....... I also known its not the factory motor it got swap with a fuel injection motor

88s were fuel injected from the factory - TBI. It is possible it has some kind of direct injection system on it, but it would have been an aftermarket unit. You will see an injector on top of the intake manifold at each cylinder connected by fuel rails on either bank.

More likely, it's the factory TBI. It has what appears to be a stripped-down carb sitting on top of the maniflod with 2 injectors above it. These can be seen by removing your air cleaner. Google some pics of TBI and compare. I'd bet that's what you have.

That is a broad question.

What kind of performance? They are great for reliable power.

Good, simple FI system. Minimal number of sensors so it runs through a lot of glitches. Benefits of FI off-road where carbs have trouble at odd angles and off-camber.

However,

They don't handle heavy modifications well, have limits to how much HP they can support (~350-ish) and it is a 'batch' FI system, so it's all good or all bad.

They are very reliable. Big HP - No. Depends on what your looking for. Daily driver and trail rig, it's good. Mud dragster, nope.

So if I look at the motor what do tbi have that stand out that I can see if it is a really a tbi sorry I'm a newbie lol

Another thing are then hard to work on or are then simple I'd like big performance but something for beginners thanks

2 bore throttle body on top of intake. An injector (about half dollar diameter) over each bore.

Easy to work on. They were in hundreds of thousands of cars over the years. All of the common issues and tuning tricks are published on the web. Will just take some searching. Of course, a lot of info on CK5 as well.
