As many of you know I have been having a few problems with my 350 this year. I believe I have the plug fouling taken care of. The engine runs Fine when out of gear but as soon as I put it in gear it falls on it's face. I swear if I mat the gas it either wants to die or it only goes up to like 1700 RPM and stayes there. New carb/New dizzy new plug and wires new fuel filter new back ful lines, new PCV valve.
Thanks
Adam

low manifold vacuum might cause something similar. have you checked for maybe the new carb gasket isn't sitting quite right or the vac lines aren't hooked up right.

as the other guys have said, fuel pump is a real possibility.

I recently had a problem where the truck would run fine until I started getting on the gas. Went through EVERYTHING it turned out being the last thing I looked at one of the fuel lines would collapse and pinch off fuel supply under load. I can't tell you how much money that cost me to find. So check your fuel lines under those conditions.
