I have an 85 K5 with a 350. It was rebuilt about 17k ago and I'm having a serious engine stumble problem. The truck starts and idles just fine, but when I accelerate I get a big stumble and a popping noise out of the exhaust.
I replaced:
Cap and Rotor
Plugs
Wires
Air and Fuel filters
Oil change.
I just bought the truck less than a week ago. It came from CA so it may need to be adjusted for high altitude. I'm going to check the timing, what should it be set at?
This is the first carbeurated (sp?) vehicle I've ever owned, so I'm not really sure what to do with it. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
Thanks a bunch. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
