350 tbi dies/stalls at idle/ shifting into reverse

Has the issue been resolved? I have been having similar issues and am following along closely.

It seems to be. I haven’t had any issues since the mechanic worked on it. He said he cleaned the IAC, which I thought was interesting since I replaced it already. But, he also mentioned that there was some other port or line or something that needed to be cleaned at the same time as the IAC, which I know I didn’t do, so maybe that was it.

Nonetheless, seems to be running just fine now.

Replacing the iac only, gets you a clean plunger, the passages in the throttle body are still grungey and restrict air flow. Brake clean and wire pipe cleaner are needed to do complete the job.
