Quick idea
I chipped my first blazer, 88, with a chip from hyper tech, I did notice a difference in the way the vehicle ran, but did not experience any fuel mileage difference. I also had a airaid short ram intake and a throttle body spacer. My second blazer was a 91, with a 2" lift and 33x12.5's 3.73's in the rear and I installed flexalite cooling fans, and yanked off the mechanical fan, first tank was 3 mpgs better than before, from 10 up to 13. Rest of the tanks averaged 1.5mpgs, or more than before. I figured the cost of the fans to the fuel savings it took about ten months to pay off in savings alone.
