OK so I've been working on a 93 350 tbi from a caprice in my auto class and found it has hydraulic roller lifters. The motors belonged to my teachers dad and he said its stock and most Chevy small blocks had roller lifters. So does that mean my 87 tbi 350 has the rollers ?

Nope, truck 350 engine didn't get roller lifters until the 96 vortecs. But your block could be ready to accept the roller lifter parts. Being a 1987 you could have a left over block.

So if I bought hydraulic rollers lifters and roller cam would I need any other parts to make it run good and properly?

You would need, roller cam, roller lifters, cam thrust plate and retaining bolts, correct timing gear set for roller cam, lifter bars, spider tray and retaining bolts, and pushrods for roller lifters.

After reading up my block can handle the roller cam , and I asked my teacher if after roller lifters and bigger roller camshaft would I need to tune it due to its fuel injected and he said first to try getting bigger injectors so there is a even amount out of air and fuel when the valve opens. So my question to you guys is would 454. Injectors work better so I don't need to tune it?

You basically need a tune no matter what. You might be able to fiddle with it enough to get it to run decent. You will need to start with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Crank the fuel pressure up around the 13psi mark with your 350 injectors and try that first.

i have converted a 350 truck block to roller .

as said need some parts. i had a build thread in the injection section if i recall.

and drop me a pm i have some parts i can deal with ya on since your local.

454 injectors on a 350 WILL NOT work without a chip tune. I'm running a complete 454 TBI unit on my 350 WITH a chip tune and I once tried to use the factory chip and it wouldn't even start because of too much fuel.
