I swaped in a 350 in place of my 305 where should my timing be? the motor is stock
There are a few variables that affect your static timing ( like altitude, octain of your fuel, compression ratio to name some ) Start at around 4 to 8 deg. BTDC and take it from there.
Chiltons list most years at 8* btdc. Plus 1* per thousand feet of elevation.
thanks I'm runnin 4 btdc cause thats what the 305 called for I'm gonna go with 8 thanks
