350 to Diesel converstion

I've been thinking.... and we all know that's scary. One day I might like to have my Blazer converted into a mean diesel machine. I know alot of people have the cucv's out there, with the old 6.2 in it. But has anyone had there vehicle switched out to a newr diesel? If so what's the plus and negatives?This is a very long term plan.

The pros would be power and mileage.

The cons are that its heavy (6bt cummins weigh twice what a SBC does), expensive (used motors are generally worth $2-4K) and lots of work (fabricating motor mounts, splicing the diesel wiring into the K truck's wiring).

the easiest and best for the money would be a 92 or 93 6.5 turbo diesel. bolts in and no computer to worry about.
