Ok, i searched around and found the item number for the spacer 7q-35a. The 700r4 i have is 4x4. I understand all i need to do is trim about a 1/4'' off the shaft, then bolt up? This seems to easy. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Yea buy the shorter shaft from AA and have it put in the tranny, the shaft is heat treated and good luck cutting it

Just buy the spacer and bolt up the 205. If you swap in the short shaft then you can have Tranny pan to CV clearance issues if you run a 1350 or bigger CV. If you are putting a 203 behind your 700R4 then the short shaft is the only way to go.
