Does the govenor cover on a (79) 350 turbo use a gaskit, rubber o-ring or can i use RTV on it? Thanks Jim

it uses a square cut oring. a round one will work. i seen one that didn't have anything, it didn't leak alot, but it was wet around the area.
if you use RTV, if for some reason you have to pull it, you may have alot of trouble getting it out.
