I want to get a short block 350 and over a period of 2 years build it to be a torque monster, but also a daily driver. Any guys out there with any ideas on what to bolt on. eg. heads, cam, intake etc
p.s. I recently bought a holley street avenger 670 and would like to use it in the build. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

"Torque monster" = 383 (350 block with 400 crank)

I highly suggest you look into a 383!

If you haven't bought one yet, look into a 383 stroker. Call your local machine shop and see what they'd want for a 383 short block.

For a 383 project, try and get a later model roller block as your foundation. All the benefits of a roller cam without the X-tra cost....
