what all would i need to convert my blazer from a 350 to a 6.2??
A parts truck would be the easiest...
It would save a lot of aggravation if you can buy a parts truck with the 6.2 in it ,since you will need quite a few things--first you need the motor, the wiring harness under the hood, the glowplug relays, extra battery tray and cables(diesels have 2 batteries!)-- diesel radiator and hoses, oil cooler hoses, throttle cable, the gas tank from the diesel would be nice(has a water sensor in the sending unit)--and the dash,it has the "water in fuel" light and the "diesel only" fuel gauge,(the stall speed on the diesel torque converter is different, but might not be absolutly nessasary to have, not a must have, but nice to do it right)--thats all I can think of right off,I'm sure some others who have done one will have some more thoughts on doing this swap--tRusty K5 converted his K5 from gas to a 6.2 I beleive...
