The did make a 401 or something.

GMC made the 305, 351, 401, and 478 in the big block V6 and the 702 V12 that was basically 4 heads off of a 351 on a V12 block. Mostly ran from 1960-72. Pickups saw the 305 from 1960-72 and the 351 became optional in 1966-72.
