I agree that there are better cams out there but you make it sound like it doesn't make any power. the power difference between a modern day dual pattern and the l-79 is evident however i doubt it is more than 7 hp or 7 ft lbs.

He didn't have a choice and is gonna swap it out later but for now it sounds good and has good power... i can vouch for that when i was over at his house when it had electrical power.

Why not?? I thought the 327s were good engines? Should i just sell it broken for $300 on e-bay?

I doubt you can get 300 dollars on ebay. Junkyard motors are worth 100 dollars. Unless the motor is valuable like a grand national motor or something that is from a brand new car.

to the other person. Yes, you can get a camshaft for 50 dollars. shops can fix cams that are out of spec and there is always "ebay"

depending on what it is, you might be able to sell it on EBay. alot of 327s had forged cranks, and can be pretty valueable depending on what parts you have, and what condition they are in.
