36\" Mud Swampers, will they fit?

I own a 1990 Blazer which im planning on lifting. However my big deal is i want 36" Super Swampers. I wanted to lift it 6" Suspension, but will that be enough? Is it enough if I do some cutting, or do i need to throw another 2" on there or a body lift? Someone help me out, hopefully i can get a straight answer. O and i was looking at 36X14 Super swampers, i like the thick ones.

ALWAYS BUMPIN!

I have a 90 Blazer with 36x12.5 Swampers and a 4" lift, but had to do some cutting, see pics under "Project UAV". If you want to go with the 14" wide and 6" lift it will work, but you will need to do some trimming still.

agreed, you could probably get away with little trimming with a skinnier tire but the 14" wides will probably do some serious crunching under a decent amount of body flex w/the 6".....especially the front fenders

I have 36x14.5x15 with 7" of lift, no trimming, and I still rub on occasion. I am just waiting some day I know I am going to crunch that fender... I would say that you can do it with 6" but you will have to trim those fenders pretty well.
