i need bigger tires for my 88 k5. shes got a 6 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift. i was thinking 37 14.50 15 toyo open country mts becasue i can get em for 275 a tire vs 350 retail. anybody got a k5 with the same size tires or the military 37s and 8 or so inches of lift and soem good pictures? im concerned with will the 37s look too small. 35s used to rub slightly until i put the body lift on if that helps. im trying to keep it from rubbing when flexing as well as looking good. kinda want to see what one looks like mounted before i plop 1300 bucks down

This is about 8" with 37 military tires.
May rub in the front when flexing and turning at the same time.

well aware of the thread. however like 99.9999 percent of the world i dont have tiem to scroll through 100 pages looking for one on 37s with 9 inches of lift

i got through 30 pages of it last night and gave up lol figured it was less time consuming to just start a new thread and ask about it. i mean its only 1300 bucks haha so i tend to not wanna be lazy about researching fitment but hey what are buddies with the same truck for anyways

Im assuming you do not want to cut or clearance the fenders? Most people on this site run 4-6in with same size and larger tires.

The $25 membership to view attached pics is cheap vs your $1300 investment.

I have the exact lift/tire size you are wanting. I have 8" of lift with 37" Baja claws. Personally, next time im going with 38 or 38.5s. 37s look good, but get a real aggressive tire to make it look better. As far as 37" military tires, i
personally dont like em. Yes, i know they are cheap, but they have no sidewall tread and they really dont measure out to a true 37 more like a 35. I ran the military stuff for a while but couldnt justify price over looks, but to each their own.

This is about 6" with Military 37's. Front axle pushed 1.5" forward.

its gonna be the daily driver for a while so no fender cutting yet. rolled my 86 playing and bought the 88 body to replace it. the 88 came with a 3 inch body lift and I already had my 6 inch lift on the 86. I cleared 36 14.50s that measure a true 34.5 but rubbed when turning left and flexing a bit. I figured with the body lift plus the suspension 37s-38s is whats gonna look right. the 38s are pricy and the 37 14.50 15 toyo happens to be in stock and cheaper by 400 bucks for the set. I just don't want it to look goofy with too small a tire

If you don't want to spend more on tires, just pull the body lift out.

Interesting that others have time to upload photos for you when you don't have time to research for your own truck.

Had you put it like that nicely up front I'm sure attitudes would be different but your post reads like you don't want to take the time and want the research given to you.

Theres lots of pics of what you're looking for on biggaytruckland.com
