Ok I needed tires really bad and was running Super Swamper TSL Radials in 38x15.50R16.5LT and as we all know they're not cheap - they're great but I couldn't afford to replace them and I really didn't want to stay that large and heavy.

Enter the Irok 37x14x16 Bias since they have a much cheaper price tag and bias ply doesn't bother me since I'll be primarily off road and they had a 4 ply rated sidewall and by going to these I'd loose nearly 30lbs per corner.

I also wanted to get out of the 16.5 problem so I bought 4 MT Classic II's - this is another story alltogether.

I ordered two tires and wheels since I wanted to attempt to replace the two front tires which were nearly bald and via measurements they bald 38's are the same diam as the new 37's. Well my wife says "why dont you just stop dragging this out and buy the other two". No one needs to hear that twice.

The first two showed up and a friend mounted and balanced them - all looks great. 5.5 oz on one 6.5 on the other, and they seem round.

The second two show up and as I'm checking them out there is a huge patch on the inside with a "6 oz" written on the inside. That seems weird to me and figure I'll mount it anyway and see how much weight it takes. All ok on the weight 5 oz BUT it wobbles like balancing an egg. The other tire takes 15.5 oz of weight but looks most round of all.

I got the tires and wheels from http://www.tirepackage.com/partlists.aspx?plID=3866&ptID=100011

Really good prices and ships from West coast for nothing compared to others.

Anyone deal with these people or know anything about egg shaped tires with patches from the factory?

Try driving it, if it doesn't feel like you driving a out of balance washing machine you'll probably be OK, I'm driving on a bent rim, so bad you can see it just watching it turn. but you can't feel it going down the road, so no harm , no fowl. that patch might just be a weight from the factory, but thats just my guess.

being bias they will or can be out of round till you drive on them and they heat up then the round out.
my maxxis big horns do this you can feel a flat spot in the mornings very noticable but by mile 2 or three its gone. and they are radial.
bias is worse especally with the thin side wall.
