37\" tires

I was intresteded in some Swampers SSR's, but after reading about how they tend to loose there outer lugs (rubber), I'm leary. So I'm asking everyone, what is the best 37" tire I can get ????? I want a aggressive tread. I will mostly be running trails in mountinous / forest region. Will also use on highways. I don't care how loud the tires are on road, infact I like the howl of big tires. So whats the best 37 inch tires ???? Please include a link with pics so I can see what they look like.

From what I have herd 17, 18 and 19" rims with 37-39" tires are the futer for desert racing trucks. I also thought that only the Crawler TA came in the 37" size!
To me having a 17" rim with a 37" tire would be like having a 15" rim with a 33-35" tire.

I think the SSR's will work well for what you need, Paul. Nothing extreme, some trails and things. I have seen them used on moderate rocks, in mud, and of course street, and they have been the best I have seen of the available 37" radials. MT/R's can be had for a better deal from Tire Rack, but I still stick by the SSR's (never been a Goodyear fan).

You can get the Bogger in 37x13x16= $222.95 ea.
SSR 37x12.5x15= $207.95
BFG MT KM= 37x12.5x17 $260.95
Baja Claw= 37.13.5x15 couldn't find a price

And I think you can get the Parnelli Jones Dirt Grips in a 37" size...not sure on that though

Well as soon as I swap in my 3/4 axels I got I'm gonna go with 17's. Why the hell not gonna be going with a 37" tire and I think they look pretty good on a big tire.

Tire Rack quoted me $748 (including shipping) on a set of 4 MT/R's in the 37x12.50R15 size. I think they are like $168 apiece. That's a helluva deal on some 37's. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

that's were I got 2 of mine (that's all They had in stock ) the other 2 I got locally for 179 mounted and balanced I love them I wish they made them in 44" /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

$936.55 with shipping here to Rapid City, SD. For (5) 37x12.50x15 MTR's from Tire Rack. I've gotta order (5) tires. Like to carry a spair with me for just incase I'd need one.

Oh yeah, I'll probably make it to the get together in Highlands Ranch. I've got a gas tank skid plate for Shawn and a lift kit for GM Man, so I guess I'll be nice and not make them come pick 'em up. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
