So got my tires, not mounted yet but decided to take a few pics of one next to the 33's on the burban and also next to the 35's on the blazer. The last one with my 3 yr old who just had to come help and had to have a picture too.
Gonna need to build an external bumper mount for the spare, it takes up the whole back.

Are those 37's Military OZ Radials???

I put them on my 85 K20 (4"Spring, and 2" Body Lift).

I picked them at 90-95% tread for 100 bucks a piece.

I think they're awesome. My suspension's pretty stiff, so I don't anticipate ever "stuffing" them very far..If It were more flexy I'd probably have fender issues...

You're going to like those tires a lot!

yep they are the 37/12.50 16.5 Goodyear Wrangler Military OZ. Got 5 of them shipped to my house for $670 all about 95% tread. Gonna put them on the Suburban you see in the first pics, ordering the 6" tuff country lift springs next week. I got one rear spring so far cause I only ordered 1 no noticing they were sold as each and not a set of 2!!

Crap,got an issue

awwww crap!!!!! So was moving them around today and was gonna clean them good and I noticed a bolt in one!!

So I got these from AAA1 surplus http://aaa1surplus.com/ Carl seems like a real stand up guy so I bet he makes it right, but I will let you know how it turns out.
Seems like I am having a real trial to get all this done....first the tires go to the wrong place, then I screwed up on the ordering of the lift, and now this. Man sometimes you just can't win.

Looks like it can easily be plugged... for that much tread and the location of the hole, I wouldn't think twice about putting a patch in it!

guess I could run it by the discount tire and see if it will plug or not, and just use it as the spare.

go get it plug patched. its a plug and a patch all in one. best way to do them. that will be just fine.

also check the inside of the tires for grease all over in clumps. some had grease in them for when the run flat was activated to not chaf threw the tire. this will cause you bad vibrations.

nice to see you got 5 spare is good that size.

and what a little sweetheart in the pic.

Thanks, she is my world.

Well I am ordering the lift by Friday so got time to get it fixed or replaced, guess I will try to plug it first.

he replied back already!!
we offer not warranty on the tires But

if you pay shipping cost we will send you 2 good tires to replace the 1 bad you do not need ot send the 1 back that would cost you more

if you call our shipping broker she can give you a rate and pick up the 2 tires Mon
Purdy Awsome huh! I am still gonna wait and see what the tire shop says, think I can plug and play.

he just sent me another one
you can have the 2 free tires up to 3 months does not have to be now
That was after I told him I was just gonna get it plugged and see if it works!!
Awsome guy, buy from him for sure!!

thats pretty cool, but in all seriousness that shoudlnt have even been strapped to a pallet. those tires come with some other serious, harder to see problems. give those a very good look inside and out. look for splits and seperations. i have junked brand new tires before.

mount them up before you ask for replacment tires, and wait for a few days for slow leaks.

just some suggestiosn from a dude who has sold a few thousand of these tires.

thanks for good advise, I will do that for sure. Gonna clean them up tomorrow and look them over real close, since I got three months I can make sure they all work just like they should before it's all over.

1 of mine had a nail. pluged fine.

and a plug patch is best like i said. needs to be done before mounting. this is the required system for warrenty on a tire from manufactur and also to keep a speed rating on a speed rated tire this needs to be done also.

Just put a washer and nut on the back of that bolt, tighten it up and you're good to go!;)
