Yet another gearing question. I searched, but it seems like every thing I find is about 35's. I have an 87 K5 with a freshly rebuilt 355, TH700, np208. I am putting in a 14ff rear and new front axle. They both have 4.56 gearing them, and I dont want to get rid of them since the 14ff has a detroit in it and is brand new. Plus, it is pretty hard to find a 4.56 front axle for the price I did. Anyways, do you guys think 4.56's would be alright on a DD 87 with 37's like mine? I am getting a B&M tranny cooler that will be going in before the tires and axles do. Anyways, how do yall think this will work? Thanks.

that should be alright.i have heard the hot ticket is 5.13's but it should be alright.if it is already geared and runs right i would not touch it.i got 4.10s with 35's,but also have a sm465 so i dont have to worry about the tranny hunting for 4th gear.

[/ QUOTE ]Sounds good, rock on bro! If somethin in that front end brakes, then just replace it with a CTM or Warn product

It should be fine. I run 37's with 4:10's in the 90 but it now has a th400 instead of the 700r4.
