Just picked a set of Mil. Hummer 37x12.50 16.5 tires. What air pressure are you running on and off the trail? My 35's were starting to crack and lose some air. it was time. My friends tell me to upgrade to 17in. rims, But i like the look of the old school Weld rim's.

Offroad, 20 psi is about as much as I dare. It depends on how you use the truck too, for me that's general rocky trails.

My truck is a bit heavier in the front than most (5.9l Cummins), I usually do 35 lbs. in the front and 30 lbs. in the back on the street. Tires are 37x12.5-R16.5 BFG Baja T/A's.

With a 6000lb rig, I ran my radial 37s from 22-25psi on the street. There are many threads about tire pressure, mostly talking about scaling your desired pressure from the max (sidewall pressure) based on weight and also marking the tread with something to get a visual cue as to when it's hitting flat.

My Wagoneer weighs 5250 and I run 30 psi on the street and last time at Rausch Creek I aired them down to 18psi and had no issues. Mine are also the Hummvee BFG's too.

Thanks Guys, I was trying to get a general idea and a place to start. I did use the search, But didnt see what i needed.

my 36" and 38" tsl I use to run on 16.5 I ran over 6k lbs truck weight and never had a problem at 25 psi . I found it best with the tire chalk test .

Do u have beadlocks? I have trailworthy fab wheels with grooved bfg baja, i run 35 on road, between 2 and 10 depending on terrain. Its like tank tracks!

do you still have any fillings in your teeth?
I used to run 35 in mine with a big 5.9 td in the front, never bow 20 off road.

what do u mean very soft ride in mud/sand/wooded trail. Like adding more spring flex

I would imagine so.

I have never noticed a difference in ride quality in over inflated tires, but I sure have in under inflated tires.

MTs at 40psi rode like a dump truck on my jeep. Took em down to 20 and it was a world of difference.

I run mine @ 50 psi on the street also. Caulk test indicates full contact across the tire. Truck is a 3/4 diesel, so the additional weight vs. a K5 may be the difference.
