I have been pricing tires for about three months now and have found a set of 4 goodyear 37x12.50x15 MT/R'S for $772 shipped. Does or has anyone ran this tires? How do they do on the trail? Road manners isn't important but could be thrown into the mix as well.

My first set were the 35"s. I got the 37"s about 6mo ago after waiting and waiting. They are great tires, flex well and get supurb traction on rocks, snow, sand and mud(in that order). They do wear nice and are easy to balance. I got 28,000 out of my 35"s on a DD and weekend wheeler.

That is an excellent price for 37's. I paid $705 shipped for my 35's and would gladly pay $67 more for 37's. :deal:

I am very pleased with my MT/Rs. They perform well on the road, mud, sand and snow. I don't even have mine balanced and they cruise nicely at 70mph. :D

I voted to get the GoodYears, not because they are my favorite tire but because that's a good deal. Where will you order them from?

Pic whoring time

Sounds like a perfect chance to post pics of the 37x12.7x15 tires I just bought last week. I haven't had a lot of drive time with them yet, but I've driven them on the highway and in town a couple of times. There isn't much noise, and I really don't feel a difference in handling.

Here's some pics:

Gonna have to do some cutting to clear them with only 2.5" lift. I do plan to add another 1" of lift.

Yep, definitely needs some :hack: :grind:

Okay, the pic whoring is done!

EDIT: Got so excited with my pics that I forgot to add that you have a good price. That is less than I paid even adding in some for mounting and balancing.

I run 35" MTR's on my truck. I really like them. I used to be a BFG man but I have seen the light and given the choice between MTR's and any other tire I would stay with MTR's (at least for what I do). They won't win you any prizes in the mud bogs but they are a great all around tire. They preform well in the rocks for sure. I can attest to that.

I am going to be buying 37" MTR's very soon hopefully.

i run the 37"s on my 99 ram.
i had 36" tsl radials before.
the GYs were nicer riding, quietier (obviously), longer lasting, better in the snow, and i had gotten a good deal on them ($550 for 4, "special deal" deal).

i had them in a nice muddy farm field driving a topo with the RTK GPS from work, my partner was scared ****less that we were going to get stuck, no problem what so ever.
only time i had to put it in 4wd was driving thru the flooded low areas.

I'm looking at the same tire.
Thats an awsome deal... where did you find that deal? tirerack.com?
Can you post a link so i can buy em also? :cool1:

I'd be tempted to print that up, then take it to the local americas tire or 4wheel parts and make them beat the price. :rotfl:

Great price. Go for it. I love my MTR's. Work very well as others have said.

i have a recipet for Wal Mart 37x12.5015's Goodyear MTR's for $160/tire
