I might get a set of 38.5x14.50r15 TSL SX's for my truck. I have a 4" lift front and rear and slight trimming on the front fenders. Will I have trouble running this combo? Also what gears are recommended for a truck that sees some street? Thanks.

depending on how much trimming you've done youll probably need to do some more, just my .02

Yeah, ~4-5" of lift and 39.5's on 15 x 10's.

This pic shows how much trimming I did (notice the side marker for reference). I do still run inner fenders, barely. Really the biggest help was to move the front diff forwards some. I moved mine 1.25" by redrilling the perches and spring plates.

I run 4.56's, but have the 6.2 diesel and no overdrive. With an overdrive tranny I'd run 5.13's. Without overdrive I'd run 4.56's.

HTH.

How much upwar wheel travel do you guys with 4" or less have without the tires hitting anything, or is that a problem? Just seems like it wouldn't have much articulation. Any pics flexed?

i do rub under hard flex bur it dose flex fairly well. i can get in the mid to uper 800's on a 23 degree rti

I was able to fit 39.5" tsl's on mine with no lift and did major trim job, but it didn't leave the yard either!!!
