Hey,

Who is running 39.5 TSL Bias Ply's on the street...how's that working for you?

i will be in about 2weeks. right now they're being freighted from california. ill let you know how the treat me. :)

i ran the 39.5 iroks and they were sweet on the street. this time i stepped up to the 42 iroks, havent really driven it much yet to made a determination as to ride. iroks are going to ride alot better than the tsl's because of the tread pattern

I know the 38 sxs suck butt, dont know about the 39s ...yet

my 38s and both of my buddys have good luck with their sx... balance out with sand...

i ran both sets of my 39.5 tsl's with out any weight in them and they ran perfect... even wear and all... no problems at all

I have a set on my blazer and they are great until about 55-60mph. They are not balanced in any way so that would help im sure.

Other than the flat spots mine ride good. I haven't been over 35 though.

Thanks guys...that is promising...I drove on the freeway the other day and man, that was not fun...Since I drive to the trail, no tow rig, I'll need to figure something out...got 16 oz of airsofts in each tire...

I had a worn set that rode pretty bad, then bought a brand new set. No balancing on em at all and they rode pretty smooth right up to about 70 mph. There was always one speed they'd be kinda bad at...right about 50-55 mph. I have about 15,000 road miles on em and they have about 30-40% left before I'm at the wear bars. One is wearing faster than the other three though.

I drove 1200 miles each way to Blazer Bash '03 when they were new.

Oh yeah, mine are for the 15" rim and I run 15 x 10 steel rockcrawlers.

I could prolly push 20,000 miles on this set...but most likely will sell em before that while they're still worth something, and then I think I'm going to go with some 11.00x16 XML's. I have the overdrive now so I can easily live with a slightly smaller tire.

I'm running 39.5 TSL and like others have said they ride pretty good for the kind of tire they are. There is a nasty vibration at 55-60 mph but I can drive through it and smooths out around 70. Only thing that sucks is every time traffic slows down you have to go through the vibes on decel and the back again when speeding up :doah: It gets old around the city highways.....
They're mounted on steel wheels with welded on beadlocks and have 12 oz of Dynabeads in there but they didn't really help, might need more balance weight????

I thought you never drove on the street? Because of that bent frame? Or do you?
I drive down this street thats about 80 yards long. I also don't drive it on the street becuase it's not licensed and insured.
