I tow a 28 ft. camper alot with this K5 and living in Mississippi where it gets to 100+* and 90% humidity during the summer, I definitely don't need an engine that is prone to overheating.
If you use heads with steam holes , and the 4 core radiator its a non-issue . The 400 is not prone to overheating , it was just the general public , and what they do to stuff that gave it a bad reputation .
