The turbo cartridge is finally arriving Monday for my Banks kit, it took 15 weeks to get one! So I am starting the install and doing all the boring stuff now so I can have my down time to a minimum. I wanted to mount my gauges but not with a tacky 2 gauge tin panel, and I don't like pillar pods so I made this.
My gauge bezel is for a 89-91 and I don't run a radio so that was a great spot. I made the gauges angle up at 10 degrees and I am happy with the results.

It was printed on a Taz6, ABS filament and took 2.5 hours and cost $1.47 to make. 3d printers are great for small brackets and obsolete parts that I don't want to make out of metal or wood.

That’s awesome!

Would you be interested in making these for others? I don’t have a/c and would love a single gauge insert to go in the bottom left where the headlight switch is and a blank for the top right to add switches to.

Dude, you freaked me out for a second. I thought you were printing the whole gauge cluster cover. That would surely open up a lot of options.

As for your 2-gauge insert, why not add some holes to line up with factory sheet metal holes (for screws) and/or some hook/tab features to grab the inside of the steel radio opening?

Can you read the gauges well down there while (imagining you are) driving? I know I have trouble seeing the radio.

If you can get me the measurements I will draw them up and print them, I have enough filament right now to do a few prototypes.

I thought about that and I might make a V2 that snaps into the bezel, my radio sheetmetal is hacked out by what looks like a sawzall and meth combination so I couldn't use that. I can see them from my test fit, I will know better once I get it all buttoned up and road tested. I have some glow in the dark filament too, and the green is bright!
