keep in mind the cost of repairs also. check basic parts costs of each car - alternator, starter, trans, injectors, etc.

As an 80s GM car lover Id take a G body over an F body any day of the week. Ive owned both and like my 88 Monte SS WAY more than my 87 Camaro.
That being said all my gripes with a F bodies:
A really ****ty 5 speed.
A rattle box if you buy a t-top car until you put subframe connectors and strut brace in.
Something thats a pain in the ass to put a better rear in.
Good things are:
Good brakes.
Decent front suspension still for its age.

Ive had alot of f bodies my first car in 97 was an 84 trans am, then I had an 84 z28that was my favorite high output 305 5 speed. Then I got a 88 formula then a 90 rs then an 89 rs I loved them all I want another one. I reccomend one.

They used to be really popular here, but now you never see them
Which is part of the reason i want one now.
