3rd Gen Dodge Ball Joints - Tool Q

Well, since I'm at 185k I won't complain too much. :rotfl:

Dang, I didn't realize you had a kit. It's all good, the kit I bought was pretty cheap considering it's Matco.

I was wondering about your previous post, it sounded like y'all go through a lot of ball joints. Are y'all putting that many miles on the trucks or..?

I want to put some good quality parts in but those $600-$800+ sets are crazy. I just can't justify that on a gently driven daily driver.

I just looked up EMF ball joints close to 700.00 canadian. :eek1:

You know, it seems like any brand you pick has crappy reviews. I've searched through dieseltruckresource.com, cumminsforum.com, etc and most brands have crappy reviews. Honestly, I haven't seen the EMF brand referenced in my searches, mostly Moog, XRF, Dynatrac and such. The big factor that no one states in the bad reviews about parts not lasting is the tire/wheel combo, I'd bet most of the problems with short life replacement parts is big offset wheels. When I do it though, I don't mind $200-$250 for a set but I wont be spending $600+ on ball joints.
