has anyone done it? got pics? i'm thinking of a removable optional 3rd row incase i have to cart around a large group o' people. i'm sure it'd be cramped back there, but i don't care - i'd be in the nice comfy bucket seat behind the wheel. :)

I took a old bus seat and put it in the very back of my old blazer. it didnt leave much leg room but it worked. I actually still have the seat but no brackets. you have to custom make some stuff to make it work.

How bout using a couple of fold down jump seats outta an old Dodge Club Cab??? Mount em on the sides, just like Dodge did.

That's a good idea, but i think i'd rather stick w/ the bench b/c i could get three people in the back as opposed to two. :)

why not jus cut the back half of a burban and put a k5 top on it? those look pretty sweet and u can fit 9 with ease :D

that would be pretty cool, just can't say that's much of an option. :) besides, i like the shorter wheelbase. maybe if i build another rig someday ...

3rd row seats

i used jumpseats out of a subaru brat. fits good even with the spare on the stock bracket. its tight fit for adults but the kids love it

78k5/350/465/205/60/14sf/37''boggers and beat to sh** :D
85sub/350/700/208/10blts welded/hacked/shortend/stripped and getting beat fast ;)

I used a jump seat from the rear of an old Jeep.
Worked awesome, but adults were miserable sitting back there.

had a quick release, took about one minute to remove.

My kids loved it, but removed it when my son was killed last year.

I just put a 77 rear seat that doesn't fold in mine and made it removable. only thing is that there is not enough leg room for adults and the way the top tapers down not much head room without hitting back glass.
