They don't wear like steel either. They wear down just as fast, if not faster than Swampers.

Mmmmm... Possibly as fast given a certin sinareo but normally they wear much better. They are rated @ 5k per tire compared to a 38" TSL 25-2700... I stand firm.. it's a superior tire in almost every aspect of travel except Offroad (stock cut), ie, balancing, wear, hot/cold, degradation, longevity, build quality, etc... But... Used their a little pricy IMHO... FWIW....
 
Oh yeah, they are the best mall crawler tires available, I won't argue that.

That web site above doesnt carry em all the time, i was told that the military went back to the wranglers since the bfg's weren't as durable.

I had heard that the military quit using them because they would have had to redo all the runflat inserts in all of them so instead they are running the other tires, and there is a huge surplus of 95% tread bfgs

You called war tire and they didn't have them!? I talked to him 3 weeks ago and he had a bunch! Holy bird these things fly off the shelf!
