I am about ready to take out the 4.56s to put the 4.88s. So that the new front will match the already geared rear.

I bought the axle as a newly refreshened axle. Thats all I know about it.

Anyhone want to offer some cash for the gears? I Dotn want them.

badbowtie1 had a post for these in the wanted section (needed gears for a rear D60 Ford axle) but these will work too if they are from a GM or Dodge front D60 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I am pretty sure they will work fine... but we better make sure before we go any further.

As soon as they are out... I will weigh them and get a price on shipping.

They should have been done by now.
The truck is waiting at my buddies house to get worked on.
I hope early next week.

Ok, my truck is supposed to be worked on a week from today.
When I get the gears out, and can guarantee that they are 4.56 and they are in good shape... I will post some pictures of them. I was guaranteed they were 4.56s and in excellent shape... but, you know how that goes sometimes.

Just to toss out a starting point, without knowing any more..
Carrier and and gears.
$100 + shipping.

I dont need the carrier, just the gears.Let me know what shipping will be to 97360 and we will go from there after I see some pics.

I am going over there to start working on some of the stuff myself. Gotta get the ball rolling here.

I did an oil change, and hooked up some of my misc wires and such from the motor swap.

And my buddy was working on the other 60 that I am getting the 35 spline stuff from. So, today should be the day it comes out.

I'm sorry... been real busy with the Blazer. ITs just about done. Was breathing fire out the headers last night!

I am bringing all my [censored] home this weekend and will take the pictures.

Gears are in EXCELLENT shape. I bgought the whole front end as a rebuilt. Well, it sure was. Never seen mud I am sure of. King pins were NEW. Bearings are excellent. Etc.
