4.56 Gears

Question? Just installed 4.56 gears on Blazer with 35's, 350ci engine, turbo 350 tranny, NP203 case. The truck seems to feel like it wants another tranny gear at about 40-50mph. Does anyone know appox RPM's at 50-60mph and is it safe to drive at that speed, i.e.stress engine, for 70-80 mile trip?
