whats the most easy way to identify a 4 bolt main engine from a 2 bolt main engine??

Pull the pan and check is the only sure fire way. The casting numbers are the same between 2 and 4 bolt blocks.

but shouldnt there be an easyer way??? i dunno if mine is a 2 or a 4 but the PO said it was a 4 bolt.

pullin the pans how i always do it. only way i know of.
