You have to measure the center pin head diameter to know for sure. I have a standard set of blocks for a 1/2" pin (3/8" thread) but they don't fit my truck. I need blocks for a 5/8" pin (7/16" thread). Not all one tons use the larger center pin I'm guessing.1979jimmy350 said:would 3/4 ton ones work? i had them on a 14 bolt?
Yes it is... and apparently GM used it at least oncesweetk30 said:7/16 is a ford size.
The head of my spring pins are a touch over 5/8" and the center pin hole in the D70HD is 11/16". Superlift has a lift block that fits this application so its best I get the right parts and do it right than to hack in something that doesn't quite fit right.
Let me double check my parts with a set of calipers. I took my first measurements with a tape measure and could have been off by a 1/16...86Cucvbeater said:I have a set of 4" Rancho blocks that were used on a M1008 and a blazer with a 14ff and the hole and pin on them are 9/16".![]()
They probably won't work, I already have a set off of a blazer with the 1/2" pin.mtnman210 said:I've got some 4inchers from under the blazer when I bought it. I have no idea who's they are but they seem to be in good shape--a little surface rust. They were bolted to a 12bolt. just let me know if you want them.
your u bolts arent a inch longer???kennyw said:Thanks, but I'm going to stick with 4" as I already purchased new ubolts.
