4 inch body lift

3" is the legal limit.

4" body lifts would need to be custom made. I had a guy give me a quote from a machine shop to mill these blocks down from aluminum and they were gonna run me $16 for each block. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Why on earth would you want a 4" body? I can see 1" maybe 2" but 4"? Do a 3' and some 1" add a leaves or something....Later 80K20

Unless it's a show only truck, four inches is going to place a lot of stress on the body mounts. Not to mention you that everything that goes to the body, like the radiator, shifters, steering shaft, fuel hoses, etc., will take major work to get right.
Just do a four inch suspension lift. Looks better, performs better, its price isn't all that much worse if you were going to have a shop install the body lift.

I have a 3" bodylift and I love it. No problems at all. I have also had most of the trucks weight on one corner of the truck(while in some really flexy situations). My bodymounts didn't brake nor anything on my frame. I would say it is safe. I also think it looks pretty nice./forums/images/icons/smile.gif
