Hey I want to put the 4 inch shackle flip on my 1986 chevy Blazer that has the factory stainless steel dual diesel tailpipe set up comming out right behind the rear tires. Is there going to be room for these pipes to stay there or do I have to wack them off. I would like to keep them there if I can in there stock location. Thanks, Klink /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I put a 4 in flip on a m1009 & the exhaust was in the way.
The tailpipes did have to be moved.

Well if the case is that I cant retain my factory Exhaust, I guess I will be doing a all spring lift /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I really dont want to /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif my exhaust off real bad.

I did an all spring lift on mine and still had the cut off the tailpipes. /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

TTT. I think I am going to have the room, wolld like to know aqpproximatley how far the rear spring bolt eyelet goes down. I think their is room there fot the tail pipe above the springs. Thanks, Klink /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Does anyone have pics of there shackle flip installed?

The end of the spring will move down 8". The cleanest exhaust routing with the flip seems to be either extending or shortening the pipe to get it to clear the shackle. We have run into some that looked like they would have to be modified but still fit. There are lots of variations.
