Think it would clear? Guy over on ss has it on a 1028 on 16.5x6.75 wheels, Ive got some 8.25s out in the yard as well as some 6.75s. Plan to do this to my k5. Im planning 4.56 gears (For now) and find a Detroit to throw in the back. I dont mind trimming the fenders a little bit, and possibly 1" zero rates for a little added security. If all else fails Ill look into a 1" body lift.

bds 4" front springs
new shackles and bushings from diy4x.
Shackle flip from diy4x.
zero rates-axle 1" forward
extended brake lines and 4" raised steering arm (till i get more money for crossover+highsteer)
conversion spicer u-joint for the rear

I know the hummer radials are known for being a little on the small side, I just wonder if you guys think ill be right on this combo? Its not a crawler, Its a street cruiser that I like to trail ride every now and again.

i do 37" radial hummer tires on 10" wide rims and have 6" total lift. 4" suspension 2" body.

fits just fine untill heavy flex and rubs back corners of fenders. only time i recall it doing it was ramp test max out and 1-2 times offroad in heavy trail section.

move the axle forward 1" and 4" springs would be just fine i bet.

Was planning on moving front axle forward 1" as well, thanks for reminding me! Now I know why i wanted zero rates. :D

IIRC the H1 wheels will need to be recentered. Too much backspacing to fit on the 3/4 tons.

He isn't going to run H1 rims. Just "H1" tires.

Yes it will fit. I have them on my Suburban right now with a 3 pack front springs and a 1" zero rate. Trimming required.

I know several people who have ran them with 4" lifts. They trimmed as well though.

So kert is gonna get me a shackle flip, front shackles and some ez inches.

Trying to decide if I need to buy their front box kit, or simply piece it out from other suppliers. Same for the rear. With the ez inch Im hoping its still enough, their fronts that are supplied are 5/8"x3"x8", that should be enough for the front springs, axle and the zero rate right? Trying to decide if their kit is worth the 63 bucks. And since im using a rear shackle flip, if the 8 up front works then it should be fine in the rear as well. And ill order their 011009 kit. front kit is 011001.

Kit info here
http://bds-suspension.com/instructions/leafspring.pdf

001401 front spring is what I will be using.

With these two kits do I reuse my stock front leaf to shackle bolts? Trying to make sure I order everything ill need so it will be here.

Brake lines and shocks will be next to decide on. kert has two fronts but no rear, and i dont know how hard it is to get an individual braided rear line. May do what ryoken said in one of the posts and do 5150s up front and 5125s in the rear, gonna call bilstein when I get closer to a rec.
